About

Odinzen is an independent research practice in computational materials science, centered on thermodynamic modeling. A lot of what we’re building is agentic AI: software and agents for doing that science, which we use in our own work.

What we do#

We work in the open, building on and contributing back to the open-source scientific software we come from.

Focus areas#

• Computational thermodynamics — CALPHAD assessments, phase equilibria, and property modeling.
• Agentic AI — LLM agents we’re building to automate computational materials workflows, with the tools, grounding, and guardrails needed for scientific work.
• Knowledge graphs — structured representations of materials data suitable for machine reasoning.
